Bakasana Key Tutorial

🌟 Bakasana (Crow Pose) Key Tutorial 🌟

Bakasana is a classic pose that tests balance and strength, and beginners often hit a few roadblocks! Today, Korean teacher Moon and I demonstrate and break down four key points to watch for in Bakasana:

Four Essential Tips

1. Hand Placement

Many beginners place their hands too wide or too narrow, which throws off balance. The right approach is to align your hands directly under your shoulders for even support!

2. Head and Neck Position

Don't drop your head during the pose! Keep your head lifted, gaze between your hands, then about one palm's distance ahead. This keeps you stable.

3. Arm Rotation

Beginners tend to internally rotate their arms, causing the elbows to point outward. Try externally rotating your arms so your elbows point backward -- this makes the pose much steadier!

4. Weight Shift

When entering the pose, shift your center of gravity forward and let your elbows move forward too. This makes the transition into Crane Pose much smoother.
